Approval of Light Sources

The FAKT photometric instruments set-up includes 2 integrating spheres (Ulbricht'sche Kugel) of 1 meter and 1,5 meter diameter. This instrument allows to determine the luminous flux and the related electrical parameters for any kind of luminous source, not only in the automotive sector.

By the way, in order to obtain the homologation according to ECE R37 regulation (filament lamps), ECE R128 (LED approved light sources) or ECE R99 (gas-discharge sources) further tests are required, e.g. dimensional check, aging, colour, possible UV emission, control of optical parameters, as well as emission at turn on (run-up test) and re-turn on (hot-restrike test).

Like other regulations, FAKT guarantees a complete service. We require from the customer just the needed samples, with the related documentation.
